No equation in the glamour world remains constant neither love nor hate. Veteran actress Neena Gupta’s daughter-fashion designer Masaba Gupta was married to film producer Madhu Mantena. Later the two announced their separation and were granted divorce in the recent past. Despite this unexpected turn in her daughter’s life, the veteran actress has chosen to remain cordial with her former son-in-law. Explaining this cordial rapport was Neena Gupta’s recent reaction to Madhu Mantena’s social media post, which grabbed everyone’s attention.

Amidst of lockdown, Madhu Mantena shared an extreme close up of his face on his Instagram account addressing himself as a South Indian villain in his caption, this called for reply from Neena . As Madhu captioned this image as, “South Indian villain”, Neena in the comment section wrote, “Ha ha ha.” Picture shared by Madhu, has him sporting subtle stubble beard with a moustache and a mole on his face, according to him made him look like a villain.

Masaba and Madhu Mantena’s separation came as a huge shock to Neena, just like every other mother, she also never expected this to happen. Neena during her conversation with film critic Rajeev Masand, opened up about it and said, “Like a normal mother, I said don't take any decision in a rush. Think about it because me and my husband both loved Madhu and still love him. He's a very nice man and we still love him. But... nahi bana toh nahi bana...Humne bola socho isko, aisa nahi hai ki immediate decision liya, they thought about it. It was a very big shock to me.”
